Caledonia Adrift is a 3rd Person Platformer developed in the Unity game engine. It introduces the player to ancient Pictish architecture and artefacts through gameplay in the form of interactive game environments, collectable pick-ups, and checkpoints. The player must navigate across an enchanted floating landscape to reach their home, collecting ancient artefacts as they go and saving their progress at the carved standing stones scattered across the environment.
Developed in collaboration with Antony Lingard (MSc, Heritage Visualisation) for the Interactive Heritage Visualisation module at the Glasgow School of Art's School of Simulation and Visualisation.
The code and project files can be viewed on my GitHub. A process journal detailing the design process can be viewed here.
